I feel I’m one of “those” people a little too often. 100% whilst I go have a jolly good chat to myself. 😊

RE: Autumn is here!

I love the sound of the sea, it's very calming. We can often hear it from the house when the breeze is from the east.

RE: Monday Drumday: New gear day!

The eldest keeps badgering me about drums but even the cheap electronic kits are quite expensive. She might have to do some more chores around the house to boost her pocket money :)

RE: Monday Drumday: New gear day!

That's a pretty cool little thing, I'd never seen or heard of practice pads before. I watched a cool documentary on drumming over the weekend called Count Me In (Netflix). It certainly looks like a good

Morning, This comes to you after the first solid night sleep I've had in a long while! Like yourself it's staying asleep for me. I often wake up somewhere between 2am and 4am and then struggle to get back

It's great to read that it's all going well and you're keeping on track. I've been a little slow at fitting myself into the rule of 5's and haven't yet set myself more than a few goals. Improving sleep

RE: Got a new toy

I read about these a while back and recall them having a really great rating. Fantastic battery life if I remember correctly and far more robust than the few would suggest.

RE: Thunderstorms out to sea

We've been here 4 years and I think I've paddled once. 4 steps in and the water is up to your neck 😅

RE: Room for more on top!

I managed to overload a skip when house clearing before we moved. The lorry driver got his own back as the stabilisers sunk a lovely hole in the driveway when he lifted it. Thankfully the people who bought

RE: A morning trip to Southwold (Suffolk)

Yes you can book tours around the brewery. I've been around Tring brewery before but Adnams looks massive in comparison. I think the kids enjoyed the fresh air and exploring. It wasn't heir favourite place

RE: Waiting 20 years!

I always offer trades people a refreshment and often a bacon butty if it's early in the day. I've never met vegan trades person so far :D

What a great idea! Setting some sort of mission and goals is a great way to keep motivated. Something that seems so bloomin' obvious but many, such as myself seem to miss the importance of.

I’ve always been a bit of a morning person. I enjoy watching the world come to life.

RE: Day Two - Home from Home

Looks like a perfect Charlie sized spot! Would love to explore Exmoor, is that where they have lots of wild horses? Possibly Dartmoor - I dunno, it was a moor.

RE: The story of Row 6 - Body Snatchers Row

I think Norwich is safe as long as you're not a witch. I seem to recall a story of a dunking stool or something. If you survived the dunking in the river you were obviously a witch and were therefore burnt

The Captains House looks pretty lovely from the outside at least!
