RE: Black Bottle whisky

I shall keep an eye out for that. I enjoy whisky and often buy myself a bottle at Christmas. I very much enjoy an old fashioned on special occasions.

RE: Tele Tuesday - Drum and bass

That looks like an interesting contraption Steve. Lovely and compact. An old school friend of mine likes his drums and has a kit at home. I posts the occasional video on YouTube. I'm not sure if I feel

Might be in the market for a couple of laptops for the kids soon Pete. Can I have them yesterday? I like used / refurbished kit as I tend to have a little more success with it. Stuff I buy new always seems

Yeah, sounds like a labradoodle. Wants to be friends with everybody even if they're not keen.

RE: Quick catch up on the Volancia

What a great project! I had plans for a project car last year but ended up being out of work for much of it so waved goodbye to my savings. One day though!

RE: My little challenge for February

Fingers crossed! I've been enjoying it more again this time around. It has been a positive cycle I guess. Getting up first thing to run has meant I've been forcing myself to go to bed earlier. I've been

I've managed to stick to it for another week this week. The elevation looks good where you are. Our house is on top of what is possibly the only sodding hill in Norfolk :D The circuit I've picked for Couch25K

It was this morning - very strong off the North Sea. It has calmed down a little now but is still very cold. The kids have coped pretty well throughout but the youngest seems to be having a difficult time

Yes, I take Lola out in the mornings 6 days a week with the wife letting me have a little longer in bed on a Sunday. I might be brave and try some Yoga this week. I've found some courses on YouTube and

RE: A pleasant 10k, but surprisingly muddy!

I've finally managed to get off my arse and head out a few times in the last few weeks. My word my fitness (well what little I had) has gone. Your photo reminds me of when I used to jog along the Thames

Nothing too exciting ... still waiting for that magic lottery ticket to arrive (as I never really buy them!).

RE: "Travel Guitar" test run

Wow, sounds pretty good. I thought hacking all that wood off would make it sound thin but that doesn't seem to be the case. Love the Musicman(ish) 4/2 headstock.

RE: Morning Run - Frosty 10-miler

I've only been out in sub-zero temperatures twice this year ... probably in the last 8 years 😂 Assuming I keep the running up I think I'll invest in some new gloves. I have some cheap woolly ones I got

I've had colleagues who have sworn by their Aeropress jobbies but haven't had any first hand experience. I've rediscovered my love of coffee recently after digging the percolator out of the garage. I've

I grabbed a similar fryer but have only used it for fries, hash browns etc. I've never thought of giving steak a go! Looking at it you can use them for all sorts including muffins and eggs. I'll have to
