RE: When you don't have enough time

I'm itching to get back into a work routine but not having any work does have its blessings. I've never had the chance to spend so much time with my daughters and it has been great.

RE: Just another Spider species seen in the garden?

I didn't realise these things were so rare; we seem to get loads of them, or very similar to them around here. I'm not a fan of spiders and tend to leave them be especially after being being bitten by

RE: Residential Urbex; sometimes one has to make do with sheds

What an introduction! "butchers bin" made me snort a little tea out my nose! I have a life long love affair with sheds and having a fine example is on my bucket list. My grandad had a brick built

RE: How does your garden grow? I've managed to keep things alive!

Not sure if they're organic or not - just some seeds I got with a magazine so I imagine not.

RE: Institutional Urbex; lluesty

That place looks massive! My stomach turns just at the thought of an open life shaft. Heights are far from a strong point.

Managed to snap somebody else in that third shot? They looks like some fairly large foundations off the building.

It was indeed a great race and the perfect company whilst I cooked the Sunday roast dinner. I'm not sure I agree that the penalty on Hamilton was too lenient but I do agree it was a valid penalty; I'm

RE: Is that still going?

Never underestimate the power of what is deemed to be out-of-date information! A few years back I responsible for infrastructure operations for a global organisation. We had so much legacy kit it was unreal!

I was working out in Washington a few years back and have been kicking myself for not making the trip out to Gettysburg.

Now that's my kind of house! ... obviously when intact and not falling down. The old papers and stuff are fascinating.

RE: My Actifit Report Card: July 6 2020

I'm wondering how busy things are likely to become in the next few weeks. Our local holiday camps opened to owners on Saturday and to holiday makers yesterday. The beach was noticeably busier last night

RE: Beach exploring

We quite often get a good mix here, something I don't recall noticing back in the Chilterns. Often it'll be dark and stormy in one direction but beautifully clear in the other.

They were taken with my Canon EOS 6D ... I no doubt held my breath for a while whilst pressing the shutter :D . I think Peanut's a juvenile wood pigeon based on seeing its mum/dad about for feeding. Quite

Great that you were able to have a safe get together. I like the makeshift face covering - far more menacing than my cheap disposable jobbies :)

RE: It's just a bird!

Fingers crossed pigeon number 1 isn't in too bad shape. Maybe it decided to frequent the local over the weekend and is now a little worse for wear.
