Steemit failed for the exact same reason that most companies fail...very poor management. The writing was on the wall more than a year ago, but rather than take it into consideration and make the "real" changes necessary, they chose to ignore it and merely cut expenses to try and survive a little longer. In the end, nothing really changed..same old...same old. Now Tron is taking over, and there will be a number of major changes taking place.
