Very good analysis!

As you know, Star Trek is Star Trek, and it has its die-hard followers (myself included) who have, without exaggeration, seen virtually every episode and movie that ever came out, and many of then multiple times. Despite the fact that Star Trek has been around for 50+ years, we never seem to tire of it. It is almost as if it is part of our DNA. Even those early episodes, as corny as some of them may have been when we look back at them now, still sparks our interest, and of course, our loyalty. Gene Roddenberry was a true genius in every sense of the word. Star Trek will live on no doubt, and I for one, am looking forward to seeing Star Trek Picard.
