While Science and Technology may have had a vast impact on people's lives, unfortunately S & T have not advanced much in terms of eradicating the many diseases that ruin so many people's lives. Sure, there may be a whole host of new pharmaceutical products on the market, but most of those products only mask the symptoms of many diseases, while perhaps allowing people to function with less pain and discomfort. S & T however has done next to nothing to eliminate the root causes of those diseases. Big Pharma makes sure of that, as their business models are based purely on profit, and not on actually curing people. After all, if everyone were suddenly cured, what would Big Pharma do then?
