I don't play the piano but definitely the guitar but they are almost alike and the methods of earning is the same but here in my country, I wish I can make up to $150 dollars from playing in a gig, like birthday parties, weddings and the rest like what you have mentioned.

Most Instrumentalist here are paid from the range of $5 to $10 on gigs here 😭😭😭 and we can play for 5hrs plus on those gigs.

That's the main reason I don't focus on my instrument or instrument in general. It can't bring food on my table.
