Understanding means to apprehend, comprehend, realise, perceive or impute meaning to something that's not explicitly stated or obvious to the senses.

Understanding is a great concept in salvation. Many of God's children have gotten the knowledge, but a few have got the understanding of the God's Word (Especially concerning the new creation). For many, the Word of God is being read like magazines or news papers and that's why, even after being born again; they are yet to experience the divine life in Christ Jesus. This is because they are yet to understand the revelation of the God's Word. Even in some Bible institutions or schools, you find that God's Word is taught on a religious basis whereby things are taken as a daily routine and this has made studying God's Word to be categorized as a syllabus which is totally inconsistent.

Many of God's beloved children still don't know why certain things happen to them and they keep complaining of life and yet if they were to weigh their situation with God's Word, they would understand the cause of those things, and why the circumstance is gaining the mastery over them.

This is a clear note that many of God's Children have the knowledge of God's Word, many are excellent in singing the various Bible chapters and verses, but a few have the understanding thus they cannot apply it to the circumstances they find themselves.... Psalms 119:165 says, "Great peace have those who love your Law, and nothing causes them to stumble." Prov 5:1 says "My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding" Proverbs 4:20-22 says "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings, Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart, For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. (Read also Joshua 1:8).

Then Jesus said in

John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

" This Scriptures makes us see that if you have the understanding of God's Word, no condition should shake you; rather you should shake conditions and make them work for your good.

THE PHARISEES AND SADDUCEES ASSUMED THEY KNOW THE LAW A LOT AND YET THEIR HEART WAS FAR FROM GOD AND ALIENATED FROM HIS WILL.

But understanding the deep revelations of God's Word is beyond just knowing the chapters and verses.... It simply comes by the inspiration and impartation of Holy Ghost and that's one of the reasons why it's important for all Christians to have the Holy Ghost because without him, there can't be an authentic Christian life. He (The Holy Ghost) will teach you God's Word and bring you into the deep revelation of His Word because He himself is the author. (2 Timothy 3:16, John 14:26).

If you've not received Him, Ask Him to come live in you today and begin to thank and magnify His presence in your life. Hallelujah! (Matthew 7:11)
Open your mind to His teaching when you hear or study His Words and let Him bring you into the deep revelations of His Word...... Glory to His name forever!!
