This is another first for me. I was actually out at the finish line when I was taking these. I quickly realized that I needed to be off to the side a little more than I was. Those things get out of control fast! Plus, it gets a little confusing looking through a zoom lens and knowing if the out of control vehicles are actually close enough to hit you or not. I got muddy, had grit in my teeth and 6 inches of dirt in my eyeballs, but I had a blast!!!
All of these photos were taken with my Canon 7d Mark ii with a 55-250 mm lens and edited using PaintShop Pro. All of the photos here were edited be adjusting the saturation, adding local tone mapping, adjusting vibrancy and adjusting brightness/contrast.
The last one is my absolute favorite of all of these. I hope you enjoy....
