Dtube Walkthrough: Art Exhibition in Lagos - "It's the Masquerades Again"

Watch how the arts impresses strong feelings and reactions. Attended an art exhibition in Lagos and this particular piece caught my attention. It displays the various forms of masquerades in our culture, sculpted in wooden blocks.
As a child, I particularly feared masquerades because in those days they were very daring and seemingly had a big appetite for scaring children. I grew up to avoid them, though they are much milder now.
Now, sighting a significant number of this forms at the exhibition made me feel a bit uncomfortable yet appreciative of an exhaustive display of an interesting part of our lifestyle and society in Nigeria.
I would probably never be fascinated by real masquerades but the art form is worth the mention. Thought I could share with the dtube community. Really impressive work done. Thanks for watching and please don't forget to subscribe.
