The Devil came from every corner,
With his fingertips to touch my heart.
It was black and cold;
He grabbed hold and squeezed till i screamed.
It hurt, your hurting me, God help me i yelled!
I was a sinner but i knew a strange part His presence,
God could no longer be felt.
The grasp that Satan has was so tight and Smothering,
That blocked anything from getting in and out.
After a while i fell to the floor, i was out-
I prayed,i prayed i fought the fight Ohh Almighty God.
And so for my Sin he gave himself to the cross,
To free the chain after so many i fail to struggle.
The devil came back for my heart, but i was free
For while i was fighting he was on the cross for me.
Now i am free, I'm released for he can no longer hurt me,
For i am clean by the blood of Jesus.
AMEN.
