Spending some time in Italy with my Wife. For many Italians the speed limit is just a recomendation lol. You gotta love it though. We were passed by a red Ferrari and this fucker was going so fast he was like vrooooom and gone and we never saw him again(200kmh?). And others are always 20 or even 30 above the speed limit. I love Italy lol. Our car has cng and gasoline. The main tank is cng. So we went searching for a cng station and found one in Monte Cairo (Not sure if I'm writing that accurately). The weather is overcast but not ice freezing and not extremely hot. Did a bit of shopping in a big mall. You know all those exquisite things (the cheeses, meats, antipasti, alcohol etc.). We spent over 300 Euros today on food. Good thing we have a minivan. We are renting an apartment so we will be cooking our own food. As a frequent traveller whose been in hotels, family accomodation and now an apt this is a nice change.
The first day we had a problem with the traffic pass ticket at the pay terminal. I didn't know you had to take the ticket lol long story short it was a embarrassing 2-3 times untill we finally got it😲
Plus we don't speak Italian and many Italians don't speak english, but interestingly at the mall we did manage to find some Italians who speak english. And many Italians whilst they might not understand you will try to explain as good as possible so somehow it works out.
Italian roads are not as good as the swiss roads I am used to but they are not as bad as some I have seen in the Caribbean. Their highways are in pretty good condition except the occasional bumb and pothole. After a while you learn to do like the Italians and just avoid any potholes coming your way. One thing I still don't get why do some Italians drive with one wheel on the other lane?
Our Continental Premium Contact 5 tyres are doing hard work😎
