Hello Splinters, welcome to this week's challenge battle.
This week we're going to talk about Animated Corpse. A death splinter card, from the alpha/beta edition, with a cost of 4 mana, melee damage and magic resistence after level 4!
A fledgling Dark Eternal is also known as an Animated Corpse. Emerging from the Tar Pits of Creation in the Southern Waste of Mortis, each fledgling must first shed what remains of its mortal flesh. While in decay, the Animated Corpses are placed on the front lines to speed their transition.
Removed from the splinterlands website.
It was a battle with only melee monsters and extra armor for everyone, so I tried to use Animated Corpse up front and monsters to attack the back line.
We will only have melee monsters, so it's my obligation to use this monster to decrease my opponent's total damage.
The challenge card, and also an excellent front line
I decided to put in a second tank, hoping the opponent would focus on ending the front line first.
Since I can only put melee, I need some that can attack from anywhere, so I chose the Sand Worm...
And the Undead Badger.
I'll leave some prints of the battle, you can see it in full here.
If I could do the same battle again, I wouldn't put Haunted Spirit in, and would replace it with other low cost monsters to take advantage of the +2 armor. Unfortunately I didn't win, but each defeat makes us improve our strategy!
It's not a card I use very often, because in general I don't use the Death Splinter very often and I also use other cards, but it's not a bad card, it's one of the old ones and if I had I would be very happy to have it
