Communication leads to community, that is, to understanding, intimacy and mutual valuing ~ Rollo May.
Yesterday, I realized while looking at my profile... I did over 12,000+ posts/comments on Steemit within 7 months, which is pretty insane to me. 🤯😳
When I first started out on Steemit, I was just a little "Minnow" 🐠 like everyone else with little or no voting power at all.
I noticed pretty fast that if I wanted to become successful on this platform, I had to start building relationship with the people in the community fast... It wasn't just based on just good content. 📝
If I wanted people to read my posts, I had to find a way to get people to notice me. So what is the best way to do that? Simple, start engaging with people on there blog posts! 👨🏼💻
The first 2-3 Months, my main focus was to support everyone the best that I could and commented my butt off. In others words, being very active engaging with the community.
In a short period of time, I had lots of people who supported me because I connected with so many people on Steemit.
Don't get me wrong, there are tons of Steemians here with high post/comment numbers but are just plain ole' spammers and posting bots which I truly hate. 🤬
Since then, I'm still one of the most active people on Steemit... Most of my posts/comment these days are usually replying back to people from my own posts.
It's getting harder and harder everyday to respond to every single one of you but I still do my best to replay to and "upvote" many of your comments. 💁🏼♂️
So what does this really mean? If you want people to get to know who you are, you need to start being very active on Steemit. It can be very noisy with all the new people coming here but you can easily stand out from the rest if you just put in a little extra effort.
You don't have to be the best, just a little bit better than the "Average" person on here.
I hope this post inspires all the new Minnows that are just starting out here on this platform, and I will do my best to keep being one of the most active members of Steemit.
So Never Stop, Keep Going, and eventually you will win!
Til' next time, Keep on (...........) ? 💞🤑💰
