One of the major causes of being handicapped nowadays stems from the fact that we are usually afraid to ask questions. We think we know everything or feel too shy to admit our ignorance of certain things. We might have some ideas about life but we can't know it all.
Questions put people on the spot. They also help to clarify one's thought. Questions are meant to create a sense of humility allowing us to feel comfortable at all times. With frequent questions we are quick to prevent misjudgement or misinterpretation of issues thereby extracting ourselves from making unnecessary errors.
Let's not forget that many great men, spent their lives asking genuine questions about life. We don't have to be afraid of asking questions when we face difficulties in life. Have you ever asked yourself why things ain't going according to your plan; why we do certain things and end up hurting ourselves. Many don't ask questions because they think they know all about themselves and their future plan.
Asking questions is also a sign of intelligence and strength not a sign of uncertainty or weakness. Therefore it is pertinent we all try to ask questions from time to time.
I remember when I was still in secondary school, after the end of a period, the teacher would ask if we have any questions because to them it is the simplest & most effective way of acquiring knowledge. It takes a lot of time to learn through life's path.
Be willing to ask questions because it's a means of widening your knowledge.
