Hi guys!
Finally weekend. I guess everyone likes weekends. I travel instead of resting on weekends! 馃槉 Today I'm going to talk about a trip to the mountain village.
We had a neighbors we loved very much in our old house. Even though we changed houses, we are still meeting with our neighbors. It's been so many years. We grew up with their children. They are our family friends now.
I live in Izmir. This village is connected to Turgutlu district of Manisa. Very close to our house. Our family friends have a house in this village. It was a difficult journey as the village was on the hillside. But every good thing has a difficulty. Is not it?
The indispensable part of a village house is a stove. There is always hot water on that stove. Even meals are cooked there. Bread is fried on the stove for breakfast. We baked chestnuts on the stove. I really like chestnuts. It would be great if there was mulled wine too. 馃槉
Our neighbors found a dog from the street. They started feeding him. It was a sweet dog. Dogs are really loyal. I really want to have a dog.
The most exciting part of our trip was mountain hiking. I like walking in the autumn. Autumn colors, yellow leaves falling. Don't you think it's great?
We almost long for oxygen because we live in the city. The city we live in is quite big. And there are many factories. So there is air pollution. Mountain trekking has been good for us all.
Ohhh blackberries! It was a little annoying to see blackberries drying. Because I really like blackberries. I would like to eat.
There were many wonderful flowers in the garden. Everything would be better if I hadn't forgotten my macro lens. There were many things I could shoot with macro lens in the forest and garden.
One of the best things about being outdoors is reading. Reading books to the sounds of birds was priceless. 馃槉
We watched the sunset with my sister.
I hope you like my photos. It was a great weekend for me. I want to come back to this village in spring. Blooming trees, daisies. I'm sure great photos will come out. See you next post.
