So I have no idea what the history of this coin is. Based on the tails side I assume it has something to do with World War Two, maybe even Pearl Harbour.
This is also the lowest face value coin I have at just fifty cents.
Actually just noticed this is an Australian coin so maybe not Pearl Harbour.
The reason I bought this coin is because I had bought a 1.5 oz silver coin. So, my total silver coins always ended with a .5 lol. So, to balance everything out and get an even number, I bought this half oz coin.
If ever silver explodes in price, and if ever I want to get rid of some coins, this will be one of the first coins I get rid of.
