These days, everything is interconnected
So when crypto moves on a Saturday, you have an idea what gold and silver might do sunday night…
Then when you know what crypto, gold and silver are doing you will have a better idea what will happen when the markets open up on monday
But then if you know then everyone else knows too so what happens then?
All this sitting by the computer screen looking at the prices of things can get super tiresome when life is really happening out there
I get it though, there is infinite opportunity out there and with the dream, humble or greedy, the thought of capturing a big move can set anyone up for life
Then you think about the differences between the assets. It becomes clear that when you have a piece of gold or silver that you hold in your hand it feels more real than clicking on a screen and looking at a balance.
Thats the thing with crypto, yes, we have a certain amount of units of any particular cryptocurrency. At the end of the day though, it’s still a number on a screen. Although that number is real, and you have control of that number, and that number can be exchanged for anything you want via cashing out, its still just a number on a screen.
This is why when you go to the casino to play at the tables you give them your cash in exchange for chips
The chips feel less real than a handful of 20’s for example
Also this is the reason people overspend with credit cards. It’s just a number on a screen. You can change that number and buy stuff, wow! That is why people like Dave Ramsay have a big audience, people don’t know the basics of money management. People who have control use debt and take advantage of 4% to sometimes 10% cash back
On another note, I have been wanting income properties for a while… but seems like there’s way better opportunities out there that don’t need you to suddenly have a part time job
