Over the weekend the prices of gold and silver take a break… kind of like the stock market…

Crypto is a different beast.

On Friday the crypto prices were something… and over the weekend they went higher..

But what happened today?

Bitcoin made new all time highs

Ethereum made a nice gain as well passing $4,000

But gold and silver basically move sideways and technically down a little bit.

This is a nice reminder that “money” doesn’t casually go up every single day…

It will move sideways.

The thing with gold and silver though… its not like there is a public ledger that I can see who is doing what to some degree.

No idea where the prices are coming from and who can change it.

If I go to a local shop and buy a coin it doesn’t change the global price.

OTC trading and buying off some market is a whole different world where the big boys have all the power.

When gold is making new all time highs and silver making new local highs the metal shops are packed with people ready to unload. The question is are these sheep selling before an epic rally or just smart stackers who are trimming some profit from the top?
