Excellent break down of the numbers. Really if you are buying packs it is because you want to gamble a little. Or perhaps you are just trying to fill out your collection. Even with that being your goal it might end up being cheaper to by the cards separately. Going forward if they want pack sales to be a big thing. They will have to come up with a way to increase the value of the pack. Maybe add ten cards instead of five? I do not know what the solution is but they need to figure something out. I remember back in the day buying a box of Magic The Gathering you would actually be able to sell the cards from the box at a profit 99% of the time. And just cherry pick the cards you wanted.
