I wrote this song a few years ago back when I was still in the dating scene. This song is a reflection of my feelings at the time, meeting new people and asking each other questions, getting to know one another, hopeful yet hesitant for fear of the unknown. At the time I was experimenting a lot with synth modulation and alternating melodies using different effects on different parts of the songs.
