This song has gone through many many changes over the last year. Originally, it was written to be a story that evolved through the changes of the song, then it was rewritten to be more or less an angry letter to an ex. Chris (the guitar player) and I debated on the track for months on end and we eventually decided that the song was fine by itself without vocals at all.
The song goes trough multiple transitions and raises and falls in tempo as it evolved. We feel the song itself tells a story without needing vocals to it at all. The dynamics keeping the listener on edge the entire way through, start to finish. We really went and pulled out all of our punches on this one!
