Imagine going to a store, an employee approaches you and with a smile ask to serve you. You feel some sort of electricity, like something is wrong...
Often, unless you're very nice to that guy or girl they don't want to do it. They just think they have to. Even if they own that place they sometimes push themselves to do it.
I don't want to be like that. It's occurred to me too at my work as a receptionist as well as a customer and it doesn't feel good. On the other hand it can be nice if a customer is somebody I like. We both gain something out of it; I'm willing to offer more than I'm typically supposed to, the other person receives more, and we're both happy about that. If somebody pushes things because he considers he is entitled to because 'she/he pays', he/she gets the middle finger in ways nobody realizes, even if they force me to do what they want.
Karma is a bitch some say. She's a good one, might I add.
Whether you realize it or not, the one law above all from which all others are born is free will. And despite appearances, unless you can allow it in yourself and others, you're going to lose; for theirs is your own too.
I'm never going to write nor upvote anything in here unless I will it --never for the money. For me money, exchange is a reward for offering something and not a goal itself. If I made some BTC by buying and selling is some exchange that would be different; that's the game there, and those are the rules. In here or at work I'd have to fake something if my sole goal was money. And honesty is another rule I hold in high esteem.
