I've been so busy with work lately I haven't had much time to do much of anything.

I thought I had my machine working correctly but I had issues with getting nvidia's drivers to install right. I don't use Windows but prefer to struggle with Linux and learn as I go. The problem is it's been years since I've even owned a computer other than an Android phone. So this being Sunday and the first day I've had a chance to sit down in front of the keyboard I spent most of the day looking at thisIMG_20180304_212655.jpg
Every time I'd get the driver installed a reboot I'd get a blank black screen and later an error saying xserver failed. I spent hours looking for the xorg.conf file... I never found it.. I tried the propietery drivers from Nvidia and the same. I turned it off and took the video card out and started over and over and over. I think I installed and re-installed the entire OS at least 4 times until I finally recognized I was using an ISO file for an AMD oooops so I burnt an ISO for an i386 machine to my USB and viola.. Installed Nvidia's drivers and woo-hoo it works. So now what?
I got a PC I got a GPU to mine with and now I got issues of 64bit software not wanting to run on a 32bit kernel. Ugh. Man a lot has changed in the last few years since I've been PC poor. It's late and after reading more than I should have I decided to not give up and installed "deluge" to grab a torrent containing a copy of some Linux Distro called Hive. It's supposed to be a Linux Distro for miners so after getting my fingers wet with "vi" editing command line I think I'm up for a new challenge and a whole new OS that supposed to have all I need to start mining already installed.. We'll see
