The beginning of a new hobby/career is here. Previously I mentioned while recovering from a surgical procedure I decided to get into mining altcoin. It's been slow going mining with 3 cell phones and a raspberry Pi.
Between the 4 workers mining I have a grand total of about 60H/sec. I know, not worth the time, energy, or effort, but I have managed to get myself some 200+ bytecoin and 5 or so digital notes for basically nothing.
Today my motherboard arrived to get started building my first "real" mining rig. I've got to take a drive to Beeville TX.
to cash my check from this last week of work and then it is off to.
to pick up an Intel CPU, some memory, and a cdrw drive so I can burn a copy Linux from debian.org and get busy trying to figure out who, what, where, and how to start mining coin. I guess I better get a video card or two also and read and read and read.
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....
Wish me luck.
