Spotlight Voting Options Update

Spotlight is trying a new voting system.

Entries in future contests will have a score.

See an entry that should be in the Spotlight?

Comment "+1" to give it +1 Score

See an entry that doesn't measure up?

Comment "-1" to reduce the Score by 1.

Legacy: Comments that say "Vote" will still count as +1 Score.

New Rules

• Vote = +1 Score
• Comment "+1" to give +1 Score
• Comment "-1" to reduce the Score by 1
• Two votes maximum.
• Double voting on a single entry will only be counted once
• Users that vote more than two times will be removed.
• Votes that fall off the comment chain cannot be counted unless the voter provides context to which submission they are voting for.

How to Vote:

1. Review the Top 3 Entries

2. Comment "+1" or "-1" in reply to the video depending on your experience!

We hope these changes are a step in the right direction, and if not we may return to the old system.
