Hi @neri0x,
There are different trails with different backgrounds. In my case I vote article on Sportstalksocial. The Trailfollower vote for these articles automatically.
The advantages or disadvantages are also different.
You automatically support articles about sports. If you are not online for a while, your voting power will not be given away and you will also receive the CurationRewards for your votes.
There is basically no disadvantage. It could happen that you vote for an article, which you may not like very much, because your interest is in football and I voted for a dance sport article.
Trailfollowers who publish articles themselves will also receive votes from @Sportcheck and all other trailfollowers.
You can enter the trail on
You can log in there via steemconnect with your Steemit Postkey.
In your dashboard is the tab Curation Trail
Search for the Trail sportcheck
Actually 22 members following the trail
If you follow you find the settings
You can change your settings there
You can set how many percent you want to vote with and after what time after my vote. Default is 0 minutes, i.e. you vote directly after my vote.
You can set a fixed percentage. That means, you always vote with your percentage, no matter what percentage I vote with.
Scale Voting Weight means your vote adapts to my vote. For example, if you have set 30%, then you vote 30% if I vote 100%. Usually I vote with 50%. This means that your vote would automatically be 15%. If I vote with 25% your vote is 7.5% and so on.
The trail is also only valid for articles and not for my comment votes. This means that your vote power will not be overused.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Best regards!
