This is going to be a 2 part update. I don't have the energy/"spoons " to do a full update all at once. will try to get part 2 out ASAP
It's been an awesome first week. I want to thank 
I've spent the last week writing posts ,setting up the community and also transferring tokens from my other accounts to this one to help get things started.
Ecency points giveaways will start soon I plan to use these giveaways to promote the Spoonie Unite community. I hope to do at least one giveaway a week , at least for a little while.
lolz token update
I've exceeded the goal for starting with 2000 LOLZ. I also began delegating some tokens to generate more LOLZ. These delegations are small right now and will need to be built up, but I can do that over time. I also plan to transfer some more LOLZ from my other accounts to build this balance up.
This account was created to be a curation account. Since the community is so new I have been curating content from other posts including the LOLZ posts and updates. I will always prioritize curating in the Spoonies Unite community but will curate elsewhere when there aren't enough posts/comment to curate in the community.
I want to take advantage of the HP delegations as much as possible and build this account up.
The first donation
The first donation and likely most of the donations for at least the next year will got to Open Medicine Foundation. They do amazing work and research.
I am not sure when the first donation will be. Likely September or October It will take a bit to build the HP up enough so I can power it down. HBD is more liquid and will be put into savings until it's withdrawn to donate. I am starting fresh with a new account so it's going to take time to get things rolling.
I plan to do donations in increments of $20-$50 to start. I hope to do these monthly once things get going.
In part 2 of the update I'll get into details as to what I plan to do with dividend earning tokens like dhedge, liquidity pools etc.
