SPLINTERLANDS ART CONTEST: Brownie

Hello @splinterlands community how's your day everyone? For this week's competition I wanted to highlight an epic card from earth splinter. A significant monster when summoned by powerful summoners because it has a low mana cap which makes it significant and valuable. I guess you've been selecting this card as one of the helpful monsters in your line up. However in this blog, my objective is to show original creation using ibisPaint X to digitally draw cute Brownie .

The Card Used as Inspiration and Lore

The Brownies consist of several tribes, all living in the branches of the Elder Tree in Anumün's East Wood. They can speak, learn and trade, but these small creatures are basically primates, similar to baboons.

The Process

All Steps in 7 Phases

Phase 1

On this phase, I started to make a simple sketch which is based on the selected character. I need to make it more intricate and intriguing.

Phase 2

Secondly, I apply the plain skin color. A balanced brown which is not dark and not also light. It's between the range.

Phase 3

Third, I apply the hair color and the traditional bat for its captivating natural pigment.

Phase 4

Next, I immediately moved on to color and give a simple base pigment to the garment. It should be more earthly in effect.

Phase 5

Next, the finalization of the character. I add some attributions that define it's personality. I also design a more detailed hair lines that makes it unique. Shades and shadows are seen through application of lines and brushes.

Phase 6

Next, the creation of background. It's a greenish dark and makes an earthly ambience.

Phase 7

Lastly, the very final process. It's the pattern design through background. After all, it's amazing!
