I felt like I had made a really bad purchase almost ten years ago when I bought my first wheel. Keep it up. It takes days to learn it. Do a couple hours per day. Then when you sleep, your mind processes the new skill and it will get easier. The heaviness of the V11 is going to hold you back a bit at first but you will learn it. Circus freaks will not learn it any easier than you!

Tips:
You are on grass with something to hold on to. Good.
It will be easier to ride on pavement, but the falls hurt more and the wheel takes more damage.
It took me over one year to learn how to ride and look down at the wheel - learning while looking down will be impossible. Head straight -forward looking. Knees slightly bent.

Riding at over 10kph is much easier than trying to ride slow. Ride straight at first - then do mild turns.

Love your show - glad to see you have a sensible ride! Best of luck.
