Everyone is a Capitalist. You may subscribe to one political belief or another. You may believe you are a Socialist, Libertarian, Conservative, Liberal, Republican or Democrat, but you are still a capitalist in the truest sense of the word.
Whether you have a hundred dollars in your pocket or you control billions in assets and/or proxy interests, if you manage assets that you control you are a capitalist.
Capitalism has become a highly politicized word, but it essentially means command of your assets. How you employ the many resources you control is up to you. There are good and bad capitalists, just as there are good and bad in every race and creed, but surrendering your own interests because of the politicization of a word will not serve you well.
To relinquish your right to decide for yourself does make a strong case for not being a Capitalist, but surrendering your rights or property to Capitalists does not make it not Capitalism
