Hello So. Cal Hive. I've taken a few pics of the Area I live during the past couple years. When I looked back in my Google photos I thought I could create a good representation of "My California"
I'm from the Los Angeles Harbor Area which consists of all the port cities.
Wilmington,Ca. is my hometown.
The area is known and represented by The Vincent Thomas Bridge. Which goes from San Pedro to Long Beach.
I've left the LA Harbor so few times in my life that I get homesick. When I get home it's the sight of this bridge that makes me feel like "I'm home"
On one side of the bridge is San Pedro, Ca. The port of Los Angeles is now home to the USS Iowa. A warship that operated during WW2.
On the other side of the bridge is Long Beach, Ca. These 2 pictures are showing artwork on a wall in the Belmont Shoes area of Long Beach. The artwork is a tribute to Bradley, lead singer of "Sublime" from LB. One of my favorite bands.
This picture is original artwork done by Bradley Nowell of Sublime
Some graffiti art collage on the walls of the "Chronic Tacos" in Belmont Shores.
Of course, Los Angeles has more to offer than the port.
Downtown Los Angeles
Some local graffiti art in downtown.
If anyone can actually make out what it reads leave a comment.
A quick look at Hollywood
Wouldn't be able to represent the area without a stop at Venice Beach.
And catch one of those California sunsets.
I was born and raised in
"The Harbor Area" of
Los Angeles
I hope everyone enjoyed my old photos. Most of these pictures were taken, as if I were a tourist, because I was supposed to move out of state. In the end I never left and I'm glad I didn't because I Love California. Thanks for taking a moment to enjoy My Cali.
