✦ This batch brings your Splinterlands identity across in full — your custom Avatar, your equipped card skins, and a proper versus screen to show them off — plus a battlefield that reads at a glance and a touch of arcane weather.
New here? Splinterlanes is three-lane battles for your real Splinterlands collection: tickets cost $0.01, winners roll real cards, delivered on-chain. How to play · Battle now
Face to face
Every match now opens with a versus screen. While the get-your-bearings countdown runs, both players' portraits and titles face off above the timer — desktop and phones alike. In Ranked and Sealed matches it also shows each player's Rating in that queue. ⚔️
Your custom Splinterlands Avatar has arrived. The character you built in SL — lineage, features, outfit, background and frame — now shows on your player chips everywhere: the versus screen, battle header, History, replays and the top bar. Players who kept a classic portrait look exactly as before. 🧑🎨
Your card skins shine too. The skin you have equipped on a card in Splinterlands dresses every copy you play — in your Hand, the Deck Builder and on the battlefront. Purely cosmetic: stats, prizes and play untouched. 🎨
Easier to read at a glance
Paused battles now look paused. During the opening deployment rounds and a Second Wind (the placement pause that follows a board wipe), the battle line in every Lane becomes a bright gold striped barrier with a shield at its heart — a glance tells you no attacks can cross. It cools back to the teal battle line the moment combat resumes, on desktop and phones alike. 🛡
Talisman chips tell the whole story. Your Talisman's second and third mods now show by name right on the Lane's chip during battle (✦ for tier 2, ✦✦ for tier 3), and tapping the chip opens a panel with every mod's full text. The enemy Talisman gets the same treatment, so you can read exactly what governs each Lane before you deploy. 🔷
Error messages across the site now sit on the same engraved notice panel as other alerts, instead of a bare red line.
Around the site
A gentle arcane mist now drifts across every page — soft wisps of purple and teal swirling slowly behind the menus and the battlefield. Pure atmosphere: it thins out during battles so the board stays easy to read, and it respects your device's reduced-motion setting. 🌫️
A new top menu: Battle and Talisman drop-downs, with Sealed under Battle — pick-and-pass Draft and the Talisman Gallery are listed as coming soon.
✦ Every battle still costs a $0.01 ticket, every win still rolls for a real card, and 98% of every ticket goes back out as prizes. Something broken, confusing, or missing? Say so in the comments — that is our support desk, and it gets read.
