Your collection already knows how to fight. Splinterlanes teaches it a new formation. splinterlanes.com is live — three Lanes, your real cards, real prizes.
It's a 1v1 battle format where your real Splinterlands cards fight across three Lanes at once — and where match prizes are real cards, delivered to your Splinterlands account on-chain, seconds after the battle ends.
Every match is fought across your Friendly Lane, the shared Command Lane, and your Hostile Lane — three fronts, side by side, all resolving together. You open by deploying an Archon (a Summoner, if you haven't caught up with the rename) into each Lane, then place Monsters round by round from a hand drawn out of your Deck. Rounds resolve with real Splinterlands combat — the abilities you know behave the way you know them — but the formation changes everything about how you plan: which Lane do you reinforce, which do you concede, and when does the Command Lane tip the whole board?
Battles play out event by event on a purpose-built battle screen (PC and mobile), so you watch every attack land as it happens.
You don't buy a starter set and you don't grind a new collection. Log in with Hive Keychain and Splinterlanes reads your actual Splinterlands collection — rentals and delegations count. Build a 53-card singleton Deck — every card unique: 3 Archons, 50 Monsters, no duplicates. Wild universe, so the old favorites fight too.
Deck building is its own game here: a singleton Deck across three Lanes rewards depth over a single stacked lineup.
Each match deals Talismans — rules modifiers that reshape the battle you're about to fight. Some you'll recognize as old ruleset friends; others exist only in Splinterlanes. Talismans are also ownable items: win them as prizes, equip a favorite to your Deck, and browse your shelf on the site.
A Talisman Market — trade your Talismans with other players — is built and in testing. It opens once buying and selling meet the same bar as everything else here; until then, the Market page on the site says exactly that.
This part deserves plain numbers:
Practice is free: solo vs the AI costs nothing and is open to everyone. Player-vs-player (private rooms and Ranked) requires a Splinterlands Spellbook. Private rooms can be played entirely free with a friend — or for stakes if both of you opt in, with Tickets and prizes exactly as in Ranked. Ranked pairs you fast and moves your rating on the ladder, so over time everyone meets fairer opposition. Leaderboard prizes are on the horizon once a player base forms.
Splinterlanes is young — fresh out of the forge and run with care, but young. If something looks wrong, say so in the comments and it will be looked at quickly.
