At the time of this post, more than 1.6 Million Chaos Legion packs have been sold. The general sale begins in less than 2 weeks, and players are eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the next airdrop from the Chaos Legion set.
While you surely have run into a few Chaos Legion cards on the battlefield, you likely have not had the chance to see which chaos cards dominate the fray when played exclusively against other cards in the Chaos Legion family.
With the incumbent release of the new Modern Format, which will feature only cards from Chaos Legion and Untamed, now is a perfect time to learn how these cards will interact with one another when older cards are no longer available.
ZenSports Chaos Legion Showdown
This weekend, ZenSports will be partnering with Splinterlands to host the Chaos Legion Showdown. In this tournament, only Chaos Legion pack and reward cards may be used. This limited ruleset makes it the perfect opportunity to observe and learn how the best players in the game will approach battles once the Modern Format is released.
You may have seen qualifiers hosted by Clove71 over the past month. During this time, 32 highly skilled Splinterlands players have qualified for the main event, to be hosted this Saturday at 2 PM EST. The tournament will feature a double-elimination bracket, and more than $2,500 in prizes
The tournament will be commentated by Aggroed and Tanzo, but that's not all!
Chaos Legion Trivia Giveaways!
During the tournament, ZenSports will be raffling off Chaos Legion packs to fans who correctly answer trivia questions. These questions may be about ZenSports, Splinterlands, or the combination of the two! A minimum of 15 Chaos Legion packs will be given away, but more pack may be distributed depending on the engagement and participation.
How to Watch and Participate
All trivia questions will be orchestrated via the tournament live stream on the ZenSports Theta channel. The team will ask questions live on stream, provide a short period of time for you to submit your answers, and then the winner will be picked randomly!
The tournament will also be live streamed to Twitch and the Splinterlands Twitter, but giveaways can only be entered on Theta. Make sure you are familiar with the platform before the tournament begins. Giveaways and polls can be entered by hitting a small card symbol near the viewer count icon.
Bracket Prediction Contest
The opportunity to win Chaos Legion packs does not end with trivia! Before the tournament even begins, you can fill out a bracket prediction for who you think will win each match in the tournament.
The more correct predictions you make, the most points you earn! At the end of the tournament, the five predictions with the most points will also win Chaos Legion packs! Wow! Predictions must be made via this link one hour prior to the tournament start.
