Lester is an introvert person but also enjoys the company of others.
Being an introvert is not as bad as others think. They can also be fun to be with, especially when you have the same interest. Lester is married to his beautiful wife, Claude and they are currently residing in Rizal, Philippines. He is currently working as an IT Analyst in a BPO company for almost 10 years.
I am Lester Santiago, your not-so-shy-type introvert.
I grew up in Bulacan, Philippines and that was my permanent address up until I was 16 years old.
At 17 years old, I moved to Manila to study college. I finished my BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Yu-Gi-Oh
My interest in trading card games started way back in high school up to college. Me and my friends used to play Yu-Gi-Oh after class. We even played during our HS Prom night. 馃槀
Magic The Gatherings
After landing at my first job, I was introduced by a colleague to Magic The Gatherings. I got hooked up to this game because it reminded me of my YuGiOh days back in high school and college.
Jace, Memory Adept was one of my favorites card back then. I used to spend hours and hours of formulating new decks and going to stores to buy new cards.
However, due to tight budget and limited playtime because of my workload, I began to lose interest in the game.
During the time that I have no other past time aside from playing computer games, a college classmate of mine invited me to play Ultimate Frisbee. This is a self officiated sport and each player is supposed to practice the Spirits of the Game.
I admit that this sports helped me a lot to become a not-so-shy-type person anymore.
From playing trading card games and Ultimate Frisbee, I also got interested in other outdoor activities like trekking, running and surfing ( I am pretty bad at this though 馃槄).
Fast forward to August 2021, I got curious to cryptocurrency games and was looking for a game to start with because we cannot do outdoor activities anymore like we used to do due to pandemic. And then I stumbled on Splinterlands while reading a Facebook post about Axie. After watching some Youtube videos, I tried creating an account in Splinterlands. I got hooked into this game and been playing up to this date.
And now I am dedicating this blog to my Splinterlands journey.
