SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! Theme: Dragons ft. Selenia Sky
Hello everyone! In this battle challenge, I would like to feature Selenia Sky from the Dragon Element. If you also want to participate, check out the latest weekly challenge of Splinterlands here - SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! DRAGONS!.
Selenia Sky
Lore >> Selenia Sky is a famed Dragon summoner from Draykh-Nahka. Though she has no scales, the purest of the Fire Blood pumps through Selenia鈥檚 veins. Most of the flying Dragons allow her to ride them even though she is not an approved Gloridax Dragon Rider. Selenia has won more Mount Mox victories than any other summoner in the Splinterlands, and she knows she is the best.
Selenia Sky is a Dragon Summoner and a Legendary one. She gives +1 Ranged Attack to allied monsters and from the Alpha and Beta Edition. Since she is a Summoner from the Dragon element, she can also call upon other elements to fight side by side with her. With its 3 mana cost, you can allot more of your mana in summoning monsters.
In this battle challenge, I used the following monsters to showcase Selenia Sky's power. The ruleset is Equalizer which grant all monsters with same health to that monster with the highest health in the battlefield. The mana cap is 13, which is pretty low when playing Dragons. This is very suitable to Selenia Sky, given that its mana cost is 3 only.
I put fungus fiend on Pos 1 because I want to focus on Range monsters and I want to spend my remaining mana on more monsters. Fungus Fiend costs 0 mana only with a base health of 2. But this base health may change in the battle because of the Ruleset Equalizer. So this can be become a pretty good tank considering its mana cost.
The Battle
Looking at the enemy's line up, it seems like the enemy's strategy for the Black Dragon to Leech life from my monsters. Then Byzantine Kitty will heal it with its accumulated health.
However, I think the enemy did not anticipate that I will use several monsters in this 13-mana pool battle.
By the end of Round 1, I already killed the enemy's Fungus Fiend and Furious Chicken. I still have my Fungus Fiend and 5 Ranged Monsters with 2 Range Attack each. Sweet!
The enemy's Black Dragon wasn't able to accumulate a huge amount of HP to be healed again and again by Byzantine Kitty. By the end of Round 2, I already won the battle, thanks to Selenia Sky's low mana cost and +1 Range Attack.
