Greetings, dear readers! I am thrilled to welcome you back for another blog post delving into the realm of Cosmic Creations. Today's Cosmic Creation theme is REBIRTH. For this particular creation, I have chosen to focus on the delicate and transformative creature: the BUTTERFLY.
In this cosmic creation, the BUTTERFLY mirrors the symbolic journey of rebirth. I chose this theme because, much like the process of rebirth, the old body, which was once a caterpillar, will be cast away, giving rise to a new being once the metamorphosis is completed. The process of metamorphosis itself serves as a metaphor for personal growth and transformation.
Here are the materials that I used to create this fan art.
I began my artistic process by sketching an image of a butterfly. I incorporated a simple pattern on the wings, aiming for the utmost simplicity. Once satisfied with my sketch, I traced it using a felt-tip pen.
After creating a few line designs, I applied black and green colors to each section of the wings and body. Additionally, I introduced a glowing green color to the background and switched the overall background color from gray to black. To enhance the overall design, I added green dotted patterns around the wings of the butterfly.
And finally, I added a glowing texture to the edges of its wings and body. Here is the final output of my creation: I aimed to make it glow in the dark, which is why I opted for green and black colors. Although it may be a simple drawing, I believe this creature is a perfect example of what we call Rebirth.
