Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge Featuring "Lost Magic" Ruleset!

For this week's challenge, we will showcase the 'Lost Magic' ruleset, where Magic units may not be used in battle. I will share a Wild Ranked Battle. Let's take a closer look at the card I used in this this ruleset and how it contributed to my team's victory.

Lost Magic
Magic units may not be used in battle. Use Thorns and Demoralize to counter melee attacks. Use Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks. Units with 2 types of attack (which include magic) cannot be used.

Battle Configuration

For this battle, here are the specific rulesets and a mana cap to consider:

Mana Cap: 29
Active Elements: Fire, Water, Death, Dragon
Active Rulesets: Tis But Scratches: All Monsters have the Cripple ability. Lost Magic: Monsters with Magic Attack may not be used in battles. FiveAlive: Up to five units can be used.

Summoner: Astral Entity

• Abilities: Give friendly units with the ability to dodge the Melee and Ranged Attack by 25%. This is very helpful, considering that the enemy can only use either Melee and/or Ranged attack monsters.

Position 1: Ever-Hungry Skull

• This monster has a very thick armor, partnered with its Flying ability. The ability to dodge enemy attacks will be further increased by Astral Entity's skill buff.

Position 2: Scavo Hireling

• Since no magic attacks can be used in the this battle, Scavo Hireling's Repair will sure come in handy.

Position 3: Weirding Warrior

• It is also very likely that the enemy will use monsters with thick armor, and that is where Weirding Warriorr's Shatter will come into play.

Position 4: Ravenhood Warden

• And to further increase the Armor of Ever-Hungry Skull, Ravenhood Warden will provide 2 additional Armors to allied units.

Position 5: Cursed Windeku

• This monster was position at the farthest, assuming that the enemy will use Sneak abilities.

Strategy:

The strategy here is to rely on the Ever-Hungry Skull's Armor and Flying ability. The other monsters will act as the support and as well will deal additional damage to the enemy. I think using Astral Entity in this ruleset is very effective.

Let's Rumble

The enemy used Kelya Frendul and summon Water elements to the battle field. The enemy also used a monster with thick armor but luckily, I have Weirding Warrior on my side.

Let the battle begins!

The fight took too long to finish but yielded good results for my team. I won because the enemy's attacks missed, and Ever-Hungry Skull's Armor was hard to penetrate.
