ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #8 - Show Us Your Hobbies

Hello everyone, Lester here! I am participating in ASEAN Hive Community Challenge of Sharing Your Hobbies. This hobby of mine started around 2014 I think and been doing this all year round. It has been stopped during the pandemic but thankfully, I got to do this again this year. Without further ado, I want to share my hobby of playing Ultimate Frisbee.

Ultimate or Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact, self-officiating (non-professionally) sport and maybe not yet popular around the globe. But this sport has so many events around the world and even have a professional league called AUDL | American Ultimate Disc League.

I got hooked up to this game after a colleague from school introduced the game to me. We trained and participated to locally leagues and International leagues hosted here in the Philippines.

Here is my first International League called Manila Spirits. This was in 2017 and held in Manila, Philippines.

I have also joined night leagues like this one that was held in Emperador Stadium, Mckinley in the Philippines.

We also tried joining leagues in the province and these pictures were taken at Pampanga, Philippines.

This game can be played on grass or sand and this one was taken at San Juan, La Union, Philippines.

And can be played in three (3) divisions - Mens, Womens and Mixed Divisions. This one is a Mixed division and we won the championship. 🏅
