480 volt is probably the most dangerous voltages in the industry. It tends to treat a fault like it’s load and really blow stuff up and burn it down.

We have a few 4,160volt river pump stations around here. One of them feeds a 72 in pipe and heads out to all the center pivot watering circles. Pretty impressive!!
