They keep adding all these “bells and whistles” then add on emissions stuff and more sensors… eventually you can’t find the alternator. Lol

I feel they design things with zero thought about how to fix it. They seem to have the mindset that parts don’t fail…

The whole front of the car had to be removed in order to get access to the water pump. Along with a bunch of other stuff. A water pump should be easily accessible in my mind but I’m not a German engineer.

To think an automotive shop wanted to charge $2500 do this… crazy!! Hopefully nothing else goes wrong with it. Lol

In my old 1990 lumina the water pump can be changed in 10 minutes… LOL. Like some of the new diesels, pull the whole cab just to change a fuel pump!!! WOW what an engineering feat!!

In the 90’s my brothers would have shotguns hanging in their back windows after duck hunting before school. They had trigger locks and the doors locked… never a problem.
