No city government is involved. They are privately owned powerlines. As mentioned this customer dug that ditch that the powerline was installed and locating services are free.

Probably all the above and some… 🤣😂

Luckily there was only damage to the conduit and not the electric cable. Plus it was easy for us to fix and the power never went out. 😉

I’m happy that is was in conduit and not the old direct buried stuff that didn’t have any conduit. I’m sure the guy digging was too.

Calling for a locate is free. The utility companies come out free of charge and mark their facilities.

He could have had a nice little “POP” and thank goodness there was a fuse just a few hundred feet away that would have blown, cutting off the power.

No, it’s in a schedule 40 PVC buried over 48 inches deep. Just 20 or so years ago the cable was thrown in the ditch with no conduit - Direct buried

This is a good reason not to just go excavating wherever you want. You never know what is underneath

We don't call him Tweaker Tony for nothin'. My daughter gave him that name. SMDH LOL

Exactly!!! The funny thing is the customer dig this trench about 6 years ago and we installed the conduit and cable. I guess he forgot where he dug in and decided to dig a foundation for a building right

Once I saw it, I knew I had to have it. 🤣😂

If that isn’t the perfect explanation, I don’t know what is… I need to put together a little dog wrestling video. Compile a bunch of their scuffles into one. Thanks for stopping by and the kind words.

Totally reminds me of this old movie Space-Balls. 🤣😂

I did develope a slight kink in my neck after the first photo. 🤣😂

It's been a real battle to get Elmer not to wrestle and fight with Tony. Most of the time Elmer starts it by biting Tony's legs. Then Tony goes wild. LOL

For sure!! He is a yoga/contortionist dog that acts like he is doped up on meth. 😂

Cute little troublemakers. lol
