I want to make sure that all bilingual posts that are well written and interesting receive a meaningful payout. I also want to make sure that we can help local communities to grow while also encouraging people to not only interact in their local communities.

This so true lots of undervalued posts recently. Until recently, I'd always ask "what kind of posts should he termed undervalued?" "Is it the one that is generally having low payouts or is it the one whose payout doesn't quite equate the contents of the article?"

Lately I have seen awesome articles with some amount of payouts as well as those with no payout at all but still great posts too. I think the distribution of rewards around areas where there are no active whales is pretty low compared to areas where there are active whales like Venezuela, Mexico, UK and the US.

The Nigerian community hivenaija is scarcely forthcoming with less than 600HP and the support of a whale that only considers articles relating to the weekly contests as sponsored by him. These are the only articles that sees his presence, anything outside that is being at the mercy of the benevolence of curators from the remaining tags and often times they don't relate with the article well since it might have an African Nigerian cultural feel.

So most times you see us writing just what everyone else is writing and dumping similar contents everyday and quite shying away from our own community because no healthy upvotes is coming forth.
