This week has been another rollercastor as the market went sideways for 4-5 days, mooned yesterday and tanked this morning. The market has dropped 4-5% even since I filled out this week's tracking report 12 hours ago.
And then there's HIVE! which has mooned 65% from last week and held its price.
You can see from above, that no rebalance was done. I keep going to start it and then look at BTC & ETH and think... Is money better sat in ADA, XRP, and DOGE? I think yes because BTC is already 30% over its last ATH and ALTs are still climbing more aggressively. It's going to be hard for BTC & ETH to 2x whereas ADA, DOGE and maybe even XRP have a better chance. Let me know what you think.
No surprise here but the book value from XV token in HIVE has tanked because HIVE is up 65% from last week. This does not make a great-looking chart but remember HIVE is a go-between token XV uses and our investment is very much in dollars and not HIVE. With that said even at 2 HIVE each, thats still 100% gain in terms of HIVE in 18 months.
Ok, this week I have included 2 charts to show total profit. The top chart is the normal 1 in HIVE and below is a new one showing dollar profits.
We lost 18k in HIVE value this week which is massive but it's hard to feel bad knowing we all hold HIVE/HP and everyone reading this has just watched their HIVE bags pump 65% 馃榿
On the flip side, the dollar value of the XV wallet increased by $3200, up to $22,743 from $19,550 last week.
Round-Up
Another week is gone and only 20 weeks remain. HIVE is performing much better this cycle than it did last cycle during the same time so this is like new ground for us because this is really HIVE 1st full cycle.
For XV itself, I am going to stop talking about rebalancing and just leave it as is until we wrap it up. I've been in 2 minds for a few months already but from this point, it makes sense to HODL. Our biggest allocations are for ADA, XRP & DOGE. I dont think taking these profits and putting them into BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC, SHIB or LINK will outperform just holding ADA, XRP and DOGE. Personally, i dont like XRP, no idea why, it's just baked into me to not like XRP but we cant deny that it has a massive community army of supporters so it's not a bad hold.
