Hello SPIers, today we look into new SPI team rewards and why they need to change. I had planned to talk with the team in a private discord DM but on second thought, I decided for the sake of being transparent, to make a post out of it and maybe others will want to join in.

Currently and for the past... 🤔... long time, team rewards are

10 SPI to run and account/wallet
20% of any profit (HIVE sent to @spinvest) after seed is paid back
5 SPI to write a post

Nice and easy, yes? Yes, it is but it's pretty hard to buy any decent amount of SPI tokens from the exchange. It's not a bad problem to have and seeing that from the 94k tokens in circulation, under 30 are listed for sale. Not a bad problem at all to someone like me who shilled SPI as a HODL token, I've been given my wish but sadly this means I cant buy any to further fund team rewards and things need to switch around a bit.

10 HBD to run and account/wallet
20% of any profit (HIVE sent to @spinvest) after seed is paid back
50% beneficiary rewards for writing a post

This includes both @spinvest and @eddie-earner accounts.

If you are an SPI team member, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Under the new payments, @spinvest will ship out 30 HBD per week to the team operators for the 3 accounts, @eddie-earner, @spinvest-leo and @spi-steemcity. Because we will start to reward content writers with 50% of the post reward, we can expect our weekly income to drop 50-60 HIVE per week. We do get juicy upvotes from @eds-vote and @brofi and always get into double digits so 50% could be more profitable than writing from your personal account.

Dont need to make this a long post. Anyone that stays up to date will already know ive been trying to buy back SPI tokens for a while already. I've kicked the can down the road long enough and it's not sustainable so it has to change.
