Hello, SPIers. Today we talk about buying/selling sections and if product placement would be an accepted form of earning on HIVE. HIVE is a blogging platform but not everyone blogs. SPI posts a few reports and a lotto draw each week. I dont really consider those to be blogs, they are financial reports posted to the blockchain and a lotto draw. Anyone that operates a HIVE project writes posts for their products/services on HIVE to promote them. So HIVE is a blogging platform thats kind of free for all as long as you're not scamming, plagiarising are being abusive.
Im always trying to think of ways for SPI to make an extra buck and it's something that we'll never do because people dont like to share any personal info on HIVE, but I'd like to hear feedback about what people think about this sort of thing.
Product Placement
HIVEs community has been around for 7 years now and it blows my mind there is no buy/sell section or community. This could be done from a brand new account and basically, it would be writing promo posts to sell products aimed at HIVE users. These products would not be all crypto or investment related, more impulse buy sorta things.

Would something like this be accepted on HIVE?
I already know the answer is no but why no? Having a buying/selling section is pretty standard on normal social media but why not on HIVE? I understand people do not like to share their addresses, this is something i only learned recently. When I was in the silvergold community a few years back it was pretty normal to share your address with lots of community members as we did lots and lots of contests but then we trusted each other. Maybe those times are gone. It's not like I'll turn up at your front door for a cup of coffee and chat. lol.
Let me know what you think. Would HIVE benefit from having a BUY/SELL section? I mean that could be its own frontend or tribe in itself. I never seen anyone talk about it so what do you think?
