Not Forgotten
Inter-Media ( my hair, colored paper, wood, oil on Canvas)
2017 work

Concept:

The painting is inspired by there T'boli tribe that afraid to be forgotten in the next generation.

This culture is rich from there attire, clothing there musics and instrument. This culture is define to there belief, unique and originality from there clothing and way of living, also for there behavior and freedom. This traditional belief should be learned, preserve and passed on from generation to next generation.

But because of this modern living the culture slowly change and afraid that the traditional belief will to totally be forgotten. T'boli ancestors works hard to make this tradition become richer for learning and pure of uniqueness till to the next generation, and its the time that the new generation should do something to keep this tradition and be proud of the tribe and not forgotten.
