It’s Time For A Vertical Video Platform on Steem

I think it’s safe to say, a majority of internet content these days is consumed on some type of mobile device. And a majority of these devices are natively vertical. Snapchat capitalized on this, and Instagram and Facebook quickly got on board and dominated the market.

Given the amount of time I spend using IG Stories, I think it would be nice to have a vertical content platform here on Steem. @dtube is great for films, vlogs, etc.. but sometimes I want to convey a message to my followers in a quick, orderly fashion. Something visually appealing, yet not a huge process. I’ve seen the DTube snaps going around lately, great idea! But even a minute is too long. And quite frankly, horizontal video platforms just don’t work as well on mobile devices as they do on TV’s.

Perhaps @steepshot could add this functionality? Of course, it could clog up Steemit with 15 second clips but functionality could always be added to put them elsewhere instead of the feed.
