Racism is a very sensitive topic. It has caused so much harm to so many people. In countries I have lived in, racism was on a downward trend. However, this trend is likely to be reversing. A new problem is becoming more prominent. This involves using the ideas behind racism such as income inequality and crime to fuel racial divide. This creates feelings such as fear, resentment, and anger towards other races. This then leads to more racism. The mainstream media have played a huge role in fueling racial divide by presenting biased views.
